100 trades of $100: the fee bill

The amounts below are our arithmetic, not an exchange figure: the rate multiplied by 100 trades of $100 each, which is $10,000 of volume. "Market" assumes every trade is a taker order; "limit" assumes every trade is a maker order.

ExchangeAll market ordersAll limit ordersSign up
MEXC$5.00$0.00Sign up
Bybit$10.00$10.00Sign up
Bitget$10.00$10.00Sign up

With market orders, MEXC comes out lowest at these base rates: $5.00 for the 100 trades, against $10.00 on Bitget.

How the bill grows with the number of trades

Same $100 per trade, market orders throughout, so you can find your own routine in the table.

Exchange10 trades50 trades100 trades250 trades
MEXC$0.50$2.50$5.00$12.50
Bybit$1.00$5.00$10.00$25.00
Bitget$1.00$5.00$10.00$25.00

Fees scale in a straight line with volume, so doubling your trades doubles the bill. Two things move it more than anything else: the exchange's rate and whether your orders are maker or taker. The maker vs taker guide shows that gap order by order.

Using this for your own plan

  • Small, frequent buys. Regular buying adds up trade by trade; the DCA guide covers the routine itself.
  • Your tier may differ. These are base rates for regular accounts. Volume tiers, token discounts and promotions change what you pay; check your account's fee page after you register.
  • Fees on futures work differently. See spot vs futures trading fees.
